Acton Institute to offer faith-based materials on environmental, financial stewardship. A book of essays and a 5 DVD curriculum on Effective Stewardship for religious congregations will go on sale August 30 by the respected Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty. The 5 DVDs address 5 kinds of stewardship, one each for talents, environment, church & family, fellow man, and finances.

We Get It! Caring for the Environment and the Poor, Biblically Website of religious viewpoint on environmental care and poverty relief. Minimal anti-industry influence, but, among more benign alliances, recommends that churches or small groups partner with big foundation grant-driven anti-industry activists Ducks Unlimited, Mule Deer Foundation, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation that received Pew Charitable Trusts money to block oil drilling on American soil and push gasoline prices beyond the reach of the poor. Leaders need to investigate these groups in greater depth to determine whether their agendas agree with the We Get It! mission.
